A2 Business on 'London City Walk'

A group of A2 Business Studies students were invited to participate in a “London City Walk” sponsored by the National Careers Service.

"We were accompanied our teachers, Mr. MacKay and Mr. Alovisetti. We visited DLA Piper, an international law firm where we met a team of lawyers and worked with them on a group exercise designed to test our negotiation skills. We also went to AON, an international insurance corporation, where we met an apprentice and found out about apprenticeships and career opportunities that exist within the industry. Finally, we were given a presentation by the director of GCS Recruitment, who outlined the opportunities and rewards within the sector. The quote that stood out the most for us was to “find something that not many people can do, but that many people want you to do.”
