In the Zone?- Get Ahead- Walk Instead

A lot of young people in the borough jump on a bus for really short journeys that could easily have been walked. This adds to overcrowded buses and slows journey times. In the map, the zone shown around the school is a 2km radius which you could walk in about 30 minutes. Walking makes it easier to plan your journey time since you don’t have to wait around for buses.’

At Plumstead Manor we are encouraging students to walk to school and reap the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and have the certainty of arriving on time!
