Work-related learning

We aim to prepare our students for the world of work. Plumstead Manor Careers department is one of the best in the country, having forged links with over 200 business organisations locally and in central London. Large companies, including McDonalds and Selchp in particular, have sponsored and worked with us in a range of ways.

All students in Year 9 have careers lessons followed in Year 10 by two weeks of work experience. Post 16 students have up to four weeks of work experience, some of them going to work in Europe.
