Opportunities

• Students experience full range of material areas at KS3.
• Students have a choice of material areas at KS4.
• Students have the opportunity to study A Level Design and Technology.
• To broaden experience by trips to the Design Museum, the Business Design Centre and industrial workplaces.
• To attend design workshops at the Design Museum and Central St. Martins.
• To develop awareness of Women Designers through school based exhibitions and activities.
• To work with people from local Special Schools and Primary Schools.
• To attend debates on issues of design organised by the Design Business Association.
• To attend Science/Technology workshops at Greenwich University.
• To attend conferences and exhibitions on career opportunities in the Design Industry.
• To work with Designers at PMS.
• To be involved in Architecture Link projects.

Successes

• Students' work has been displayed at the local teachers' centre.
• A level students have chosen to follow careers in Design and Design and Technology teaching.
• Winners of Year 9 borough-wide Cyberchallenge.
• Winners of Year 9 Borough wide Design Challenge.
• Winners of Year 9 Borough wide Engineering Challenge.
