  • Community links with performances to primary schools and homes for the elderly.
  • The chance to work in all areas of Performing Arts and gain a qualification.

Successes

  • GCSE - 100 percent pass (87 per cent A-C grades)
  • A level - 100 percent pass (94 per cent A-C grades)
  • Frantic Assembly run Workshop for A2 students
  • London Bubble work with Year 9 pupils on Conflict and Resolution which results in a performance based on their ideas
  • Project with the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith on Rough Crossings as part of Black History Month all Year 9 pupils take part in the project
  • Stage struck Drama club take part in Carrying the Torch – London Bubble and performing at the Winter Concert “Seasonal Poems – with a twist”
  • Year 13 Drama group perform The Sound of the Footstep (devised piece)

  • Year 7 drama competitions – winners attend performances of Danny the champion of the World and Into the Hoods
  • Year 13 performance exam Fugue 800
  • A2 Students attend workshop at the Bloomsbury theatre on Trojan Women
  • GCSE Exams - 50 year 11 Drama students perform 12 plays to external examiner.
  • AS students perform Stags and Hens and Road as a performance exam
  • Year 10 Students take part in Pygmalion workshop that is filmed by the Old Vic as part of their new voices project
  • All Year 7 students take part in a Lion King Mask making workshop
  • Theatre Trips this year include: Member of the Wedding, Complicite, The Brothers Size, Christmas Carol, The Tempest, Women of Troy, Prayer for my Daughter, We will Rock you, Twin stars, Branded, The Woman in Black, Good Soul of Szeuchan, Pygmalion, King Lear, Spamalot, Danny Champion of the World and Into the Hoods
