Examination Timetables and Schedules 2016-17
Sixth Form Study Leave
Year 12 students only
The following study leave arrangement will begin on 5th June and will end on 20th June:
Students must attend all timetabled lessons in a subject during this time, until they have taken the final exam in that subject.
Students will not need to attend school for their independent study periods, but if students have lessons periods 1-2 and periods 5-6, they must stay in school for periods 3-4 on that day.
Normal lessons will resume for year 12 students on Wednesday 21st June, so they will be expected in school full time. From this point onwards, they will take part in a transition programme and begin studying as year 13 students.
Year 13 students only
Students must continue to attend all lessons until they have taken the final examination in each subject. From 5th June onwards, students will only need to attend their timetabled lessons; they will not be expected in school for independent study periods. For example, they must attend all English lessons until they have taken their final English examination. Once they have taken the final examination in a subject, they will no longer need to attend the lessons in that subject.
Year 13 students will not be expected to return to school once their examination period has finished.
